Soul-Centered Therapy

"Becca's spiritual framework has elicited
my own from which I can now view life's
day to day occurrences with greater
meaning and understanding. She provides
'action-oriented' coaching to
resolve key issues related to
work and family along with a
strong network of abundant resources. "

TL, Human Resource Project Manager,
Training and Development,
large financial investment company

Becca King is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, a graduate of Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston, Mass. with continuing education experience in Group Psychotherapy, Feminist Psychotherapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Spiritual/Ecological Psychology. She has facilitated groups in Family Life Education in community as well as in corporate and retreat center settings. She also has had extensive experience in working with issues of diversity and creating community (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual support groups and courses on White Privilege and Anti-Racism) in churches and in the wider community.

As a psychotherapist and personal coach, Becca has worked for 20 years with individuals, groups and institutions focused on change process and on creating new solutions for old problems. In this work, she specializes in working with you to create clear, achievable goals, to expand your possibilities and to awaken your creative self-expression. With an engaged, direct style, Becca works with you to identify and move through resistance to change, focusing you instead on reassessing, observing, honing and testing desired outcomes. An experienced and perceptive analyst of interpersonal and institutional systems, Becca brings her wide range of skills to bear for her clients.

"Working with Becca as my therapist and coach I have been able to replace my pain and shame with compassion and an appreciation of what my childhood experiences actually gave me. I now know myself and my unique gifts, have grown in confidence, can clarify my own values and now have skills which helped me achieve a better quality of personal and work life as I move into my elder years. One of the greatest gifts I have received from working with Becca is integration of my work life and my personal spirituality."

— GA, Counselor, Alcohol Treatment Team with Community Agency.
